My digital collages reimagine historical imagery through a surreal and absurdist lens. I began working on this series in 2019 and I continue to produce ideas, although far more sporadically these days. Sourcing public domain materials from archives like the NYPL and museum collections, I fuse early 20th-century urban scenes with psychedelic visuals and bold digital elements. These juxtapositions fracture time and context, transforming the familiar into something uncanny and unexpected. Presented in a square format, the series was shared as an evolving digital experiment, engaging with the ephemeral nature of online art while drawing from the rich visual past.
